$300/6 sessions, Tuesday Evenings (1/16 & 30, 2/13 & 27, 3/13 & 27), (V, GF – please indicate when registering) — HANDS ON FORMAT — this class MUST BE TAKEN AS A SERIES

Join us for this bi-Weekly, small group, hands-on class series that puts you in the kitchen!  You will learn basic cooking techniques, become familiar with ingredients and kitchen tools, explore different flavors and share the cooking experience with others.  Each session will focus on one or two fundamental skills or techniques as you and your fellow students learn the step by step preparation of 1-2 core dishes.  You will build a library of go-to, basic recipes and master core skills and techniques while you gain confidence and proficiency in the kitchen that will translate into healthier eating and overall improved well-being. Whether you are new to cooking or just want to hone and improve your core skills, this class is for you!!  (Light dinner served before each session beginning at 5:30 pm)

Session 2 (1/30):  Soups and Stock
Session 3 (2/13):  Sear & Sauté
Session 4 (2/27):  Stir-fry
Session 5 (3/13):  Roasting
Session 6 (3/27):  Braising
