This series will give you the knowledge and hands-on experience you need to make it happen! We will cover the selection, storage, cleaning and cutting of many popular varieties and cooking techniques such as spiralizing, ricing, blanching, sautéing, glazing, stir-frying, steaming, roasting, braising and caramelizing! We will focus on a different category of vegetables each week.
This class is geared toward those who have basic cooking knowledge (knife skills is a must!!) and want to expand their knowledge base and incorporate more plant-based ingredients into their diets. You will build a library of go-to, basic recipes and master core skills and techniques while you gain confidence and proficiency in the kitchen that will translate into healthier eating and overall improved well-being. Great for those who want to hone and improve their core skills and start eating healthier! Includes recipe binder and set of take-home containers (past cooking series participants, please bring binder and containers from previous classes.)
