FOOD ALLERGIES AND SENSITIVITIES: Please contact us at least one week in advance if you have food allergies or sensitivities. You are responsible for advising us of the type and severity of your condition. We will try to accommodate you to the best of our ability, but please understand that we spend weeks preparing the menus and logistics for each class, and it is very difficult to make changes at the last minute, and at times, cannot be modified. We only have one kitchen and a variety of food items are used. All cooking items are cleaned in a sanitizing solution between use.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full payment for classes is required at time of reservation. We understand that life happens, and emergencies do occur. However, we also have a commitment to all our students, and there is a great deal of preparation and scheduling that goes into creating and executing each class. Therefore, all cooking classes are NON-REFUNDABLE, much like a sporting event or theater ticket, but can be rescheduled if cancellation is made 72 hours or more prior to class. If you are unable to attend a class, we encourage you to send someone in your place. In this case, please notify us of the participant change.
Cancellation notice given 72 hours or more in advance of your scheduled class, will receive a credit (valid for 180 days from the date of the original class) toward a future class registration. If the class was being paid via Gift Certificate or previous credit certificate, the amount will be returned to a new certificate (with original expiration date still in effect.) Amounts from promo codes or discount codes will not be credited. NO CREDIT will be issued for cancellations within 72 hours of a class. In this case, you may contact us to see if we have a waiting list. If there is a waiting list for that class, we will TRY to find a replacement for you. We do NOT GUARANTEE that we will be able to fill the spot. If we do fill the spot, you will receive a credit (valid for 180 days from date of class) towards future class registrations.
If for any reason, including insufficient enrollment, Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience needs to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be notified (via email or phone) a minimum of 24 hours prior to the class and given the option of credit for another class or a full refund. If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made, and you will receive your choice of credit toward another class or a full refund. Please note, classes are rarely canceled due to weather and if the class is held, there will be no refunds due to the weather.
Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience reserves the right to cancel or modify classes and menus.
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By registering for a cooking class or event, I fully understand, acknowledge and accept that the class or classes I am registering to take with Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience are for the purpose of learning to cook, which involves preparing, cooking and sampling food. Given the common dangers and use of tools and cooking instruments in a kitchen, I agree to hold harmless Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience, its employees, owners, chefs, food preparers, attorneys and assigns, from any and all liability, loss, claim, demand, action or cause of action which arises or may arise or be occasioned in any way by my participation in any class, including but not limited to, slips, falls, cuts, burns, choking, food allergy reactions and other accidents and injuries that may arise from the activity of cooking and eating the food prepared in classes or events. I understand that hands-on classes will involve food preparation and handling and that I am ultimately responsible for maintaining the quality of the food I prepare, cook and eat during any class.
MEDIA RELEASE: Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience reserves the right to use and reproduce any and all photographs or videotapes taken during your participation in any activity related to Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience for the purposes of promotion, advertising, and public relations. By registering for a class, you consent to be photographed or videotaped. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please notify Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary experience.
All classes require pre-registration and payment. Cash, Check and Major Credit Cards accepted. Reservations will be accepted until class fills or 48 hours before class start whichever occurs first. All classes may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling by Mrs. Dornberg’s (minimum of 48 hours in advance of class start).
This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for (www.mrsdornbergs.com). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:
- What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
